This is not a physical garment or pattern and nothing will be mailed to you. Winnie is a knit, wide-leg bottom with several options and features a pintuck along each front leg for added interest. It includes both mid and high rise options. Choose from 3 waistband options: a fitted waistband, a fitted waistband with a drawstring, or an elastic waistband with a drawstring. It includes 3 inseam options: shorts, cropped length, and pants. Add optional pockets to any option. Winnie is perfect for everyday wear, lounge pants, or dressed up. It will be your new go-to for your little one’s closet. Youth Winnie Features: •Made for knit fabrics. •Wide-leg bottoms with a pintuck along each front leg. •2 rise options: mid rise or high rise. •3 waistband options: fitted waistband, fitted waistband with drawstring, or elastic waistband with drawstring. •3 inseam lengths: shorts, crops or pants. •Optional pockets. •Includes 3 full videos sew-through. Sizes (includes both imperial and metric measurements): •Fits sizes 1/2 (about 9-12 months) to 14. •Waist sizes 19.5″-28″ or 49.5-71.1 cm •Hip sizes 19.5″-34″ or 49.5-86.3 cm •Height 29-61 or 73.6-154.9 cm Skill level: •Confident beginner- The waistbands with the drawstrings and the pintucks will be the most difficult for a true beginner. Suggested Fabrics: •Drafted for medium-weight, soft, stable knits with 50% stretch horizontally, 20% or more vertical stretch, and 4% or more spandex. •A variety of knit fabrics can be used for different looks. •Cotton French terry, nylon ponte, double brushed poly, ribbed knit, fluffy sweater knit, stable waffle knit, stretch velvet, cotton lycra, and stable sweater knits work well. •Lighter weight knits like rayon, bamboo, light sweater or waffle knits, blends without spandex etc, are not suggested. Do not use a light weight knit for the waistbands without elastic or a drawstring. These fabrics do not have enough recovery and will 'grow' with wear. Notions: •Elastic and fitted waistband with drawstring options: 1/4 grommets (outside diameter must be 1/2 or smaller) and lightweight knit interfacing. Optional: drawstring cording. •Elastic waistband option: 3/8 knit elastic •Basics: iron, marking tool, ruler, snips, thread, pins or clips, scissors or rotary cutter, hem gauge, bodkin or safety pin. Ball point, stretch, or jersey needle.
